The 2025 China Nanchang International Dragon Boat Race Concluded
经过两日的激烈角逐，2025中国南昌国际龙舟赛于5月24日在九龙湖水域落幕。红谷滩区龙舟队、东莞中天集团龙舟队、宜春学院龙舟队分别斩获县区组(33人)、公开组(22人、高校组(12人)800M直道竞速赛冠军。
After two days of intense competition, the 2025 China Nanchang International Dragon Boat Race came to the end on May 24 at the Jiulong Lake. The Honggutan District Dragon Boat Team, the Dongguan Zhongtian Group Dragon Boat Team, and the Yichun University Dragon Boat Team respectively clinched the championships in the 800m straight course sprint of the county and district group (33-person dragon boat), the open group (22-person dragon boat), and the university group (12-person dragon boat).
本届赛事创南昌龙舟赛事规格之最，吸引50支龙舟队、逾1500名选手参赛，其中包括俄罗斯、德国、英国、巴基斯坦等4支国际队伍。赛事突破传统办赛模式，首次采用直道竞速赛与表演赛双轨赛制，设三大组别展开800米竞速。长距离赛道设计凸显九龙湖生态景观与水域文化特色，为观众呈现全景式观赛体验。
This dragon boat race was the highest level dragon boat event ever held in Nanchang. A total of 50 dragon boat teams with over 1,500 participants took part, including four international teams from Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Pakistan. Breaking away from the traditional competition format, the event innovatively adopted a dual-track system of straight course sprints and exhibition races, set up three major categories for the 800m sprint competitions. The design of the long distance racecourse highlights the ecological landscape and aquatic cultural features of Jiulong Lake, offering spectators a panoramic viewing experience.
各国选手在碧波竞渡中展现力与美的同时，赛事更以龙舟为纽带，融合竞技性与文化性，向世界传递南昌城市活力与传统底蕴的时代传承。
As athletes from different countries demonstrate their power and grace while competing in the blue waves, the event uses the dragon boat as a link to blend athletic competition with cultural significance, sharing with the world the enduring legacy that embodies Nanchang's vibrant city energy and profound traditional heritage.
